Large Scale Fire Test
1.Heating cells in multiple locations at the same time in battery module.
2.Evaluate how many cells need to be thermal runaway,then fire break out.
② Rack level
1.Use same method at module level,making one module thermal runaway.
2.Evaluate whether the fire can spread one by one along the module.
1.Use the same method at rack level,making several racks thermal runaway.
2.Ensure that the fire spreads throughout the whole DC block.
Battery Pack (Module): Three Helium Detection test at Module Level
- Three helium detection:
- First helium test for semi-finished products with empty modules.
- Second helium test for finished empty modules
- Third helium test for finished modules with assembled cells.
- High temperature and High humidity Test
The test environment: at 40±2℃, The relative humidity is 90% ~95%.
We performed 5 charge/discharge cycles in the 0.5P system and found that :

- (1) there is no water vapor in the module
- (2) It achieves absolute insulation and voltage resistance after the test.
